Overview
Stride is designed to be simple and privacy-first. We do not collect, sell, or share your personal data. All step information is processed locally on your device.
What data Stride accesses
Stride can access your step count from Apple Health (HealthKit) to show your daily steps and history. This access is optional and only happens if you grant permission.
- Health data accessed: step count (and related daily aggregates).
- Purpose: to display your activity inside the app.
- Storage: on-device only.
What data we collect
Stride does not collect any personal data. In particular:
- No accounts or sign-in.
- No analytics or tracking identifiers.
- No advertising SDKs.
- No location data.
- No contact information is collected by the app.
Data sharing
Stride does not transmit your HealthKit data or any other personal information to external servers. We do not share data with third parties.
Third-party services
Stride does not integrate with third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.
Your choices and controls
You can control Health access at any time in iOS Settings:
- Go to Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → Stride.
- Disable step access to stop Stride from reading Health data.
Stride does not store your data on servers, so there is nothing to export or delete outside your device.
Children’s privacy
Stride does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. The app has no accounts, no social features, and no data collection.
Changes to this policy
If Stride’s privacy practices change, this policy will be updated and the “Last updated” date will be revised.
